Monmouth County officials rented mobile water treatment trailers to supply added water production capacity for preventative maintenance and seasonal demand.

In 2014, officials in Monmouth County, New Jersey, sought a water filtration system that would not only add capacity for peak water demand in the summer months, but also allow for clarifiers to be taken offline for preventive maintenance.
New Jersey American Water (NJAW) initially rented four Aria FAST units, purchasing them to support additional water production capacity. The addition of these systems meant that Monmouth County no longer needed to place mandatory or voluntary water restrictions on their residents during peak demand.
Aria FAST mobile membrane trailers from Aria Filtra® were instrumental in helping NJAW meet the peak demand during Monmouth County's hottest summer months and allow them to take the clarifiers offline while conducting preventive maintenance.
The fully integrated systems include an automated process for monthly turbidity monitoring and daily membrane integrity testing. Both processes are necessary for compliance and can be completed with the touch of a button.
"The Aria FAST mobile membrane trailers were instrumental in helping us meet Monmouth County's peak summer demand, especially in July when capacity needs are nearly triple that of the winter months. The trailers performed flawlessly for the bulk of summer in addition to being user-friendly and easy to run. Overall, it was a very good experience."
